Edward Charnel has been running The Bloody Bourton Walking Tour since May 2010.
The Bloody Bourton Walking Tour is a two hour walk around the charming village of Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire in the heart of the North Cotswolds.
It runs every Friday & Saturday at 7pm from the War Memorial.
Please note; from early November till early April tours only run if tickets sold or bookings.
The village & surrounding area is steeped in history, folklore & superstitions, often gory!
All this is covered on the tour as well as true tales of Ghosts, witchcraft, secret rooms, crime & punishment, Religious Persecution, murder most foul, also some of the more amusing quirky tales of the village.
There are approximately 13 stops on the tour, this is around a small village so its never too far to walk to the next stop.

The tour is wheelchair friendly & dogs are welcome & every parent knows that children love their history horrible.
