The War Memorial stands on the west end of the village green, on the high street.
Its the meeting place for the start of The Bloody Bourton Walking Tour & also where the Tour ends.
Here you will be lured into of false sense of boredom, with some of the basic history of the village & surrounding area.
Iron age, Romans, Saxons, Standing Stones, Burial Mounds are all very briefly mentioned at the start of the Tour.
